Afghan citizens will also be able to get a five-year business visa that will be extensible in Pakistan. In addition, Torkham border patients will be issued visas for up to 6 months.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan, while announcing the opening of border markets for traders from Afghanistan, had said that if the Afghan peace process was successful, prosperity and development would come to the region.
