The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a rally in the French capital, Paris. The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe monument were evacuated. Police also found a bag full of weapons and ammunition near the Eiffel Tower. Pictures that surfaced on social media showed a blue bag containing bullets and a variety of weapons. Police say the area has been cleared and The Eiffel Tower and the monument to the Arc de Triomphe have reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
