Pakistan white ball captain Babar Azam has become the second highest run scorer in T20 cricket.
Babar Azam has scored a total of 942 runs in 2020, surpassing England's Alex Hales (895) and Australia's Marcus Stevens (809).
He surpassed Alex Hales in scoring another half-century in the ongoing National T20 match in Rawalpindi, making him the highest-scoring batsman in T20 for the second year in a row.
Babar Azam has scored 8 half centuries and 1 century so far this year, so he has come to the first position in this list with 9 fifty plus scores.
The captain of the national whiteball team has also become the highest-scoring batsman in T20I this year, hitting 108 fours in 2020 while no other batsman has hit 100 fours so far.
The middle-order batsman was also the highest run scorer in T20 matches in 2019, scoring 1607 runs in 39 innings.
Shoaib Malik is the second leading batsman for Pakistan this year, having scored 703 runs so far, while Mohammad Hafeez is third with 684 runs.
Surprisingly, Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi also holds the record for taking the most T20 wickets this year (2020), currently leading the way with 39 wickets.
