Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza announced his full support for Azerbaijan's position in the conflict with Armenia.
According to ISPR, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizadeh called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza at Joint Staff Headquarters Rawalpindi. Issues of mutual interest and the situation in the region were discussed on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said that Pakistan's Armed Forces fully support Azerbaijan's position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and seek a solution to the issue in accordance with UN resolutions.
On the other hand, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizadeh thanked the Pakistan Army for its open support for the just stand.
