Approval of NAB inquiry against Fazlur Rehman

 

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved the NAB inquiry against Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The NAB inquiry will also be held against Captain Safdar and Amir Moqam. Former President Asif Ali Zardari has been indicted in two more references.

NAB approves NAB inquiry against PDM chief and JUI Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman, NAB also approves Nawaz Sharif's son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar and PML-N KP president Amir Muqam. A meeting of NAB Executive Board was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Justice Javed Iqbal, Chairman National Accountability Bureau at NAB Headquarters, Islamabad.

Deputy Chairman NAB, Prosecutor General Accountability NAB, DG Operations NAB, DG NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the meeting through video link.

In the meeting of the Executive Board of the National Accountability Bureau, it was decided to review the proceedings in the Malam Jabba Swat case in accordance with the law in the light of certified copies of the decision of the esteemed Peshawar High Court.

According to a NAB statement, a meeting of the Executive Board of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) approved an investigation against officers / officials of the Bank of Khyber Peshawar and others for allegedly recruiting illegally in violation of rules and regulations.
