New Delhi: An Indian man killed his wife on the basis of friendship with another man and took her severed head to the police station to be arrested.
According to details, the incident took place in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh where a man from Banda district brutally killed his wife on suspicion of having an illicit affair.
The Indian citizen had also called the man belonging to his wife to his house this morning under the pretext of attacking him and suddenly attacked him with an ax.
When a citizen named Kunar Yadav took his wife's severed head to Kotwali police station for self-arrest, the policemen were also shocked.
Police arrested the Indian national and took his wife's head for autopsy.
