Akshay Kumar confesses to using drugs in Bollywood

Indian film industry superstar Akshay Kumar has also admitted to the drug mafia and people's drug use in Bollywood.

On social networking site Twitter, Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia aka Akshay Kumar broke his silence on the death of Shashant Singh Rajput and then the drug mafia in Bollywood.

He released a video on Twitter in which he confessed to the drug issue in Bollywood.

Concerned about his career, Akshay Kumar, while addressing the fans, highlighted the negative news in the media and said that you should not look at all the people of Bollywood in the same way.

Akshay Kumar said that the death of Shashant Singh Rajput has hurt the stars as much as the fans.

"The issues that have arisen since then have forced us to look into our own necks and see the flaws in the film industry that need to be addressed," he said.

Putting his hand on his heart, Akshay Kumar said, "How can I lie to you that this problem (drugs) does not exist in Bollywood."

He said that just as there are people who use drugs in every field, there are also people in Bollywood, but he hoped that whatever steps are being taken by the investigative agencies and courts will be fine.

The actor also showed the mirror to his own media and said that I urge the media to raise their voice carefully as a negative news will ruin one's years of hard work.

It may be recalled that on June 14, Shant Singh Rajput was found dead in his home in Mumbai.

Initially, his death was termed as suicide, but later investigators started investigating it from different angles, then the matter reached to the use of drug mafia and sedation in Bollywood.

In this connection, Sishant's former friend and actress Riya Chakraborty and her brother were arrested who are accused of making Sashant addicted to drugs, while Riya also made big revelations about the drug mafia in Bollywood.

Following the revelations, Bollywood celebrities including Shardha Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were summoned for questioning.

It is to be noted that Deepika Padukone's WhatsApp conversation on drugs also came to light, the accuracy of which she has also admitted.
