Another accused involved in the murder of a young man in Korangi was also arrested while the girl who killed him was also brought to book.
According to details, a young man named Manif was killed in a firing incident in Korangi Zaman Town area a few days ago. Footage of the incident also came to light. Police arrested accused Noman, who was riding a motorcycle, on Friday. Police also arrested the accused Shah Rukh.
Police officials said that when the accused Shah Rukh was questioned, he said that he was working in a local factory in Korangi where he had befriended a girl named Areeba who worked with him. Areeba told him that Manif's old friend Manif is blackmailing him that he will go viral on social media on which he killed Manif. At the time of the incident, Areeba had made a telephone call to Muneef at the scene.
Police officials further said that a murder device has also been recovered while the accused had also thrown Manif's mobile phone in the drain. The robbery was registered in the complaint of the victim's father Muhammad Shoaib. Police are further investigating the incident.
