Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that the educational institutions closed due to corona virus have been recommended to be reopened in phases as per SOPs.
According to details, a meeting of the steering committee of the education department was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani in which the opening of educational institutions and issued SOPs were discussed.
Saeed Ghani said that according to the recommendations, all educational institutions should not be opened simultaneously on September 15, but should be opened in stages. The provincial minister said that according to the recommendations of the committee, classes above class IX should be opened from September 15, classes 6 to 8 from September 21 and classes from pre-primary to class 5 from September 28.
"We will make a final announcement regarding the educational institutions only after the NCOC meeting on September 7," he said.
