Virtual Emmy Awards Ceremony, 30 Awards to HBO

Due to the global outbreak of the corona virus, the most important 'Emmy Awards' for the film world and for TV were held virtually this year, where HBO won the most 30 awards.

The Emmy Awards are the most prestigious awards in the world of American television, and are given exclusively to television programs and dramas.

The Emmy Awards began in 1949 and this year marked its 72nd annual event.

According to the British news agency 'Reuters', due to the corona virus, this year's 'Emmy' awards were held in different ways, which was hosted by Jimmy Camille.

Jamie Camille opened the Emmy Awards by saying hello and welcome to the PandEmmys, where most celebrities participated online and wore a variety of casual attire, such as gowns and hoodies.

Speaking at the show's event in Los Angeles, Jimmy Camille said it was unnecessary to show during a global pandemic.

"What's happening today is not important, it's not going to stop the corona virus, it's for fun and we need fun now," he added.

"It's been a traumatic year, a year of division, injustice and disease," said Jimmy Camille.

At the Emmy Awards, the AT&THBO Network won the most 30 awards, including 'Succession' and 'Watchman', and Succession won Best Drama.

Apple also won its first Emmy Awards this year.

The most nominations for the Emmy Awards in 2020 came from the web streaming channel Netflix's dramas, and the website received a total of 160 nominations, finishing second with 21 awards.

In addition, Viacom CBS's pop cable network won comedy awards in the off-beat series 'Skate Creek', which won all 9 awards in the comedy category.

Due to the popularity of Netflix, ATNT, Walt Disney, Apple and others have also launched their streaming video services.

The Emmy Awards have long been dominated by HBO, which has won awards in the past for 'The Espranos', 'Sex and the City' and 'Game of Thrones'.

HBO has won the most awards in the last 17 or 18 years, but in 2018, Netflix and HBO were tied in awards.

This year, HBO's reality drama 'Watchman' has won the most number of 11 awards, including Best Series, and actress Regina King has been honored for her lead role in Watchman.

Watchman producer Damon Landloff named his Emmy Award for the victims and survivors of the 1921 massacre of the black community, and the series is partly influenced by him.

'Succession' won 7 awards and Jeremy Strong won Best Actor for his role in Succession.

In addition, the play has received seven awards for its story and direction.

During the virtual awards ceremony, many celebrities, including Sterling's Brown and Azu Adoba, who won the Sporting Actress award, also wore Black Lives Meter themed T-shirts.

The biggest shock at the Emmy Awards came when former Disney Channel actress Zane Dia, 24, won the Best Drama Actress award on HBO's TV series Euphorbia.

Zinedine Zidane played a young drug addict in Euphorbia, and this year she surpassed the likes of Lara Lane and Jennifer Austin.

Also at the Emmy Awards, Tonight Wood's John Oliver won the Best Variety Talk Series for the fifth year in a row.
