Junaid Khan, the main accused in the case of Dr Maha Ali's suicide in Defense, has denied all the allegations and called for an investigation into the last 30 minutes of the deceased's life. According to Junaid, at the end of 2016, he met Dr. Maha Ali who first turned into friendship and then into love. They both wanted to get married but Maha Ali told him to wait till the UT exam. Dr. Maha Ali Accusing K's father of various charges, Junaid Khan said that Dr Maha Ali was killed because of his domestic circumstances.

Junaid also provided the media with a record of a screenshot of a mobile phone chat on WhatsApp. According to the main accused Junaid, on his birthday on July 19, Maha Ali Shah made the best birthday card and on Valentine's Day, Maha Ali sent his handmade cards.

Junaid denied the allegations made by Maha Ali's father Asif Ali Shah and said that he never tortured or blackmailed Maha Ali Shah. According to Junaid Khan, he was fabricated to be a drug dealer. Allegations were made that the day before his death, Maha sat with him and watched a movie, had dinner together and left him at home at night.

He said that on the day of the incident, at 9.50 pm, he went to his house to drop off chocolates. Maha sent a message of thanks for sending the chocolates. "I love you too," he said.

According to Junaid Khan, Maha Ali read the message at 10:34 pm but there was no illegal talk till then. At 11:07 pm, Maha Ali was allegedly shot and seriously injured. Despite this, Asif Ali Shah called helper 15 and was rushed to hospital.

He said that Maha's brother called him and informed him that he had been shot. Asif Ali Shah forbade him from conducting an autopsy. The police should investigate.

According to Junaid Khan, it is necessary to exhume the body to know the postmortem of Maha Ali who committed suicide or was killed. Junaid Khan has also demanded the formation of a joint investigation team to investigate the matter.
