The American who picked up a piece of glass from the park suddenly became a millionaire

If the goddess of fortune is kind, it also happens when something that is considered as glass can be turned into a diamond. Crater of Diamonds is a park in the US state of Arkansas where you can walk and find precious stones for a small fee.

According to a report by the American Broadcasting Corporation, Kevin Kennard, who works in a bank, arrived in the southwest of Arkansas for a tour of the Crater of Diamonds. After walking for ten minutes, he saw something shining, which he felt was a piece of glass, which he put in his bag.

Shortly afterwards, the park administration stopped Canard and his colleagues for a check. Which is a routine and is checked by everyone who goes.

"I didn't like checking in because I didn't find anything," Kennard said. However, they also saw my bag. And the same thing that was kept in the bag as glass was examined and it was found out that it is a diamond.

The park management gave Kennard the good news that he had become the owner of the diamond. I was shocked to hear this

Canard's diamond weighed 9.7 carats, the second largest in the park's 48-year history.

Kennard's friend Ginger Burton, who was with him at the time, wrote a congratulatory message on Facebook saying he had kept the news secret for three weeks.

Drew Edmunds, the park's assistant superintendent, says Kennard is lucky to have an ideal situation at the park.

The park administration had plowed the site on August 20. It had rained a few days earlier, but it was sunny that day when Kennard came to the park.

The diamond that Kennard received is now his property and he hopes to get a good price for it. This year, 246 diamonds have been registered in the park with a total weight of 59.25 carats. Twelve carat diamond was found.
