According to Indian media reports, the incident took place in the state of Rajasthan, where a young man in Alwar district had to pay the price for listening to music with earphones on the railway line.
Deosangh, 23, was crossing the railway tracks at the railway gate No. 70 with earphones on while listening to loud songs when he was involved in an accident.
The young man was so engrossed in listening to songs that he did not see the train approaching when the driver blew his horn and tried to warn him but he did not hear the sound and he was crushed under the train and lost his life.
Police have handed over the body to the next of kin after postmortem and necessary procedure and the matter is being further investigated.
