Dubai police, once again proving their competence and ability, found the lost diamond of the tourist and handed it over to the owner.
According to Gulf News, Dubai police found the missing diamond of a British tourist in 48 hours. The female tourist reported that her diamond was lost somewhere during the trip and was not found despite trying to find it.
Dubai Police Colonel Dr. Mubarak Saeed, Director, Tourist Department, said that the police took immediate action on the report and based on the available information, they started searching for the valuable item.
Police issued a summons to the taxi driver and when asked about the details of the case, he expressed inaction. After the tourist woman, the woman who traveled in the taxi was found and questioned by the police.
The woman said she found a stone in a taxi which she kept but did not know that it was so precious. Police recovered the diamond and handed it over to the real owner.
Col. Mubarak says the Dubai Police aim to provide a safe environment for tourists and ensure the safety of their lives and property.
