Prime Minister Imran Khan has visited SPARCO's Satellite Ground Station where he reviewed the country's capabilities in space, science and technology. The Federal Minister and military officials were also present on the occasion, briefing the Prime Minister on the use of technology in economic development. Scientists and engineers briefed the Prime Minister on science and technology projects. The Prime Minister pledged to uphold national security and sovereignty. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country would further strengthen its strategic capabilities for sovereignty. Nuclear capability is secured under a strong command and control system. Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed the need to expand the infrastructure for space technology. Prime Minister Imran Khan was also briefed on National Space Program 2047.
