Saudi Arabia: A parcel from the United States spread panic.

Opening a parcel from the United States in Saudi Arabia cost the Saudi girl dearly. The scorpion in the parcel stung her throat and arm, which frightened the Saudi girl.

According to Saudi media, Saudi journalist Mohammed Al-Ahedib said that the girl was in her bedroom when she suddenly started crying and running.

According to the journalist, the girl inadvertently put her hand inside the parcel and tried to pull it out, but at that moment, a small scorpion in the parcel attacked her and stung her, injuring her, causing her to run in pain and fear.

The Saudi journalist has asked locals and expatriates to be careful when receiving and opening any parcel, especially those with perforated parcels, which are not without danger.

Occasionally, scorpions, snakes or other venomous animals enter a parcel when it is being transported at a port or airport, whether the parcel comes from within the country or from abroad.

It was also advised that the parcel should never be opened in the room but should be kept in the sun for one hour before opening, however, food parcels should not be kept in the sun.

If the parcel is opened in a bright place, God willing, if any scorpion or snake comes out of it, get rid of it immediately.
