Samsung's new fold able phone Galaxy Z Fold has been officially launched.

 

Samsung has officially introduced its new foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold 2 which is Samsung's most expensive phone.

The phone was first unveiled last month with the Galaxy Note 20 series and it was announced on September 1 that details about its price and availability would be released.

Now it has been introduced and in every way it is better than last year's Galaxy Z fold.

The screen on the outside of the phone, which the company calls the cover screen, grows from 4.6 inches to 6.2 inches, while the main screen on the inside expands from 7.3 inches to 7.6 inches.

The main display has been given a refresh rate of 120 while the Ultra Thun Glass has also been made a part of the device to improve the image quality.

The phone's hedge has also been improved and the company has dubbed it the Hideway Hinge and it can stand on its bill at 75 to 115 degrees.

When this phone is used in Flex mode, users can use specific apps in split view on the main screen.

The phone has a 3-camera setup on the non-screen side, with a 12-megapixel main camera and dual-pixel autofocus, optical image stabilization and 1.8um-sized pixels.

Similarly, the 12-megapixel telephoto camera has a 2x zoom, while the third camera has a 12-megapixel ultraviolet sensor.

The phone also has 2 selfie cameras, both 10 and 10 megapixels, one on the cover screen and the other in the folding main screen.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

The 4500 mAh battery comes with 25 watt fast charging support while fast wireless charging and wireless power share are also part of the device.

According to Samsung, the phone will be available in 40 markets in pre-order from tomorrow, which will be available to consumers on September 18.

It is priced at $ 2,000 (over 330,000 Pakistani rupees).
