Sajid Khan once again faces charges of sexual harassment

 


Director Sajid Khan, the brother of renowned Indian choreographer Farah Khan, is once again facing charges of sexual harassment and is being demanded to be arrested on social media.

Model Dimple Paul, citing the ongoing campaign against sexual harassment, accused Sajid Khan of harassing her at the age of 17.

The Me Too campaign was launched around the world in October 2017 when Hollywood celebrities came forward to accuse producer Harvey Winston of sexual harassment and rape, and a total of 100 women accused him. 

In 2018, the campaign was launched in India as well and journalists and actresses accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment.

Actress Saloni Chopra and actress Rachel White had accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment while journalist Karishma had also shared her me-too story on Twitter.

In a statement, Saloni Chopra wrote, "I moved to India in 2011. To learn more about filmmaking, I wanted to work with a director, after which I interviewed Sajid Khan." Asked me a lot of inappropriate questions during the interview and after which I cried a lot but I got this job, after getting the job he would call me any time of the night and he would explain that when i call me this Will have to answer.

After the allegations against Sajid Khan came to light, actress Bipasha Basu, who worked with him in the 2014 comedy film 'Hum Shaqlz', had also accused him of misbehavior.

The actress had tweeted that Sajid Khan has such a nasty attitude towards almost all women, he jokes about them during the shooting of the film.

According to Punk Villa, Indian model Dimple Paul recently accused Sajid Khan of harassing her at the age of 17.

In a post released on Instagram, he wrote, "Sajid Khan tried to touch me by saying inappropriate things and even asked me to be naked to get a role in his upcoming film House Full."


In an Instagram post, Dimple Paul accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment and wrote in the caption of the post, "Before democracy dies and freedom of expression ceases, I think I should speak up."

"When the Me Too movement started, many people raised their voices against Sajid Khan, but I did not dare because like every other actor who has no godfather and has to earn for his family," he wrote. I also remained silent. The Indian model wrote that now I don't have parents, I earn for myself, I can dare to say that I was harassed by Sajid Khan when I was 17 years old.

He further wrote that Sajid Khan spoke inappropriately to me, tried to touch me and even asked me to be naked for a role in the upcoming Film House film.

Dimple Paul wrote that God knows how many girls Sajid Khan has done this with, I am not telling now to feel sorry for me but it is only because I felt that all this affected me very much. When I was a child and chose not to speak.

At the end of his post, he wrote that people should be arrested who make such offers to give roles but also conspire and steal your dreams but I stopped but I made a mistake by not saying anything about it. 

On the other hand, according to India Today, after Dimple Paul's post, many people on social media demanded the arrest of Sajid Khan.

Since Dimple Paul's post, the hashtag Arrest Sajid Khan (ArrestSajidKhan #) has also been trending on social networking site Twitter.

It may be recalled that at the time of the allegations, Sajid Khan had directed only six films so far in 2018. His most successful film is 'House Full', which was released in 2010, after which he directed more of the same film. Also make 2 movies.

Sajid Khan was busy shooting the fourth film of the same film series with Akshay Kumar and Nana Patikkar, but after the allegations came to light, he left the film and also denied the allegations of women.

However, in an interview given to Bollywood Hungama, Sajid Khan had confessed to behaving rudely towards women.

He said I made a lot of relationships, broke a lot, cheated, lied like other boys do but I was on TV and I was successful.

Sajid Khan said that I was treating women very badly, I had treated all the good girls in my life badly.
