Four people were injured in an alleged bomb blast outside a mosque on Sariab Road in Quetta.

Immediately after the blast, the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. The incident took place outside the mosque after Friday prayers.

A viral video of the incident shows motorcycles on fire after an explosion outside a mosque.

According to AIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema, the nature of the blast was not immediately known, but police are investigating whether it was caused by explosives or by a fire in motorcycles.

Police cordoned off the area after the incident and launched an investigation.

According to the state-run news agency APP, business in the area was suspended after the blast, and rescue workers and volunteers rushed to the scene.

It is to be noted that Balochistan has been suffering from unrest for some time now, which is also said to be the hand of external enemies.
