Police officer commits suicide in Lahore's Garden Town

An officer posted in the investigation unit at Garden Town police station in Lahore has shot himself.

According to the details, the police officer had been working in this police station since 2019 but recently he was posted as Assistant Sub-Inspector. Sub-Inspector Asad Muzaffar said that ASI was suffering from mental stress after the death of his son and was fighting with him. He was also worried about his youngest son who is suffering from physical disability. He said the investigating officer was also treating stress and anxiety, but on September 11 he returned to work and shot himself in the head.
