Police arrested 8 people including 2 actresses on very shameful charges.

Police in the Indian state of Karnataka have arrested eight people, including two actresses, in a crackdown on drugs.

According to Indian media, the Narcotics Control Bureau of India (NCB) had recently seized narcotic pills in a large-scale operation in Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. Further investigation revealed that the pills were also supplied to actors, actresses, musicians and others in Karnataka's film industry Sandalwood.

The NCB, in collaboration with the Central Crime Branch, conducted operations in Bangalore and arrested Kunar actress Ragini Devidi. The next day, after questioning the actress, her friend arrested the real estate tycoon. On September 8, another actress, Sanjana Gulrani, was arrested. A series of arrests began on September 4, which led to more arrests on further investigation, including Karnataka's big businessmen and others. Police have arrested a total of eight people, including two actresses, in the case.
