Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been issued a non-bailable arrest warrant. He is currently in London for treatment.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected Nawaz Sharif's plea for exemption from attendance and issued non-bailable arrest warrants on September 22.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in its Avonfield reference ruled on Nawaz Sharif's request to cancel his bail.
During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that the person who went out on bail did not undergo surgery nor was he admitted to the hospital.
He said that Nawaz Sharif's medical certificate is the opinion of a consultant, not from any hospital.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani further said in his remarks that so far no hospital has said that we cannot admit and treat Nawaz Sharif because of Corona.
"Our bail order has expired, which has its own effects,".
