NAB Sindh in a major operation in Karachi has arrested Makhdoom Jalil-ul-Zaman, son of late PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim, on corruption charges.
Family sources say Makhdoom Jalil-ul-Zaman was taken into custody from his home near the superhighway.
According to NAB sources, Makhdoom Jalil-ul-Zaman was issued a summons by the NAB in August. Despite the NAB's notice, Makhdoom Jalil-ul-Zaman did not appear. The arrests were made by the NAB for not appearing on the notice.
Sources said that Makhdoom Jalil-uz-Zaman along with former account officer Mushtaq Sheikh is accused of corruption.
