It should be noted that on September 27, a young man of the Pakistan Army was martyred by the unprovoked firing of the Indian Army on the Line of Control.
The Pakistan Army Public Relations Department had said that the Indian Army had opened unprovoked fire on the Kot Kotera sector of the LOC, however, the Pakistan Army had responded effectively to the Indian provocation and had targeted the Indian military check posts. There was loss of life and property.
Earlier on September 23, India had also unprovokedly shelled the LOC in violation of the ceasefire, as a result of which two Pakistani soldiers were martyred.
The ISPR said that unprovoked firing was carried out by the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC) in Deva sector, to which the Pakistan Army retaliated and targeted the outposts.
It may be recalled that ceasefire violations and unprovoked firing by Indian forces have been going on for a long time and in the year 2020 alone, the Indian Army has violated ceasefire more than 2,340 times.
