An FIR has also been registered in the case stating that a woman belonging to Gujranwala was returning to Gujranwala from Lahore in her car with her two children when her car crashed on Ring Road near Gujjarpura. The woman ran out of petrol. The woman informed her relative in Gujranwala, who asked her to report to the motorway police.

According to sources, the woman had been waiting for the motorway police for a long time. He was raped in front and snatched gold jewelery and cash from her.
