India: A loving couple embrace death when they were not married

 

A boy and a girl committed suicide when there was no marriage of choice in India. When the bodies of the two were found in a field, the villagers informed the police.

According to details, a mass suicide has taken place in Gudiwara village of Katte Pali Mandal in Nalgonda, Telangana, India, where the bodies of a girl and a boy have been found from a field.

Police officials said the boy was identified as 26-year-old R Srinivasan and the girl as 16-year-old Maheshwari, who are said to be neighbors, whose relatives were against their marriage.

According to police, Srinivas is already married. The villagers found the bodies of the two in a field in the village. Srinivas had already died and Nageshwari was in a coma. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Declared him dead.

According to the preliminary investigation, a bottle of pesticide was also found near the deceased. Srinivasan had befriended Nageshwari but his relatives had started opposing him. Upon receiving the information, the police reached there and sent the bodies for autopsy.
