Help that can save someone's life

Today, World Aid Day is being observed around the world. The purpose of this day is to highlight the importance of providing first aid so that one's life can be saved.

First aid is that which is given to a person suffering from a medical emergency and can be handled in such a way that he can survive until the doctor or medical staff arrives. Experts say that if we know how to give first aid, we will kill someone.

Most people die on the way to the doctor after an accident or a sudden illness, so first aid can save their lives.

However, it is important to learn and try first aid properly, otherwise our help may increase rather than reduce the victim's pain.

According to medical experts, these mistakes should be avoided while providing first aid in case of an emergency.

seizures

In the case of an epileptic seizure, the patient's body stiffens and people close to him fear that his tongue may come under the teeth and be cut. So they force him to open his mouth and put something between his teeth.

Remember, pushing or forcing an epileptic patient to open his mouth can cause him to break his teeth.

Get rid of the idea that her tongue can get stuck between her teeth because the patient's tongue gets stiff like any other part of the body so she stays in place.

In case of burns

If any part of the body of a person close to you is burnt, avoid applying any cream on it immediately. Put the burnt part in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes or give a splash of cold water. It is best to apply the cream 20 minutes after the burn.

In case of an accident

God willing, if you encounter an accident on the road, the best help for the victims is to call an ambulance as soon as possible.

It is very dangerous to pull injured people out of overturned vehicles because you do not know what kind of person is injured inside. Otherwise, instead of helping him, you hurt him.

The ambulance's trained staff knows how to evacuate people trapped in vehicles, so let them do their job. All you have to do is try to stop the blood (if it is flowing) from the body part outside the car.

In case of choking

It is wrong to hit someone on the back if they suddenly feel shock while eating or drinking water and the food gets stuck in their windpipe. On the contrary, the back should be relaxed.

In the case of frostbite

People living in cold areas often suffer from frostbite, meaning that blood clots in some part of their body due to severe cold. If left unmanaged, they can be left astray and lose the right path.

In case of frostbite, avoid rubbing this part or putting it in hot water. Immerse the affected area in lukewarm water and slowly allow blood to flow.

In case of fever

A common idea is to cover the patient with warm clothes in case of fever so that he sweats and the fever goes away.

In fact, a fever patient needs to stay normal so that his or her body temperature rises.

The most important thing

The most important thing when helping someone is to take logical measures while keeping your senses. Avoid rushing for help and doing what you understand.
