LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary Ataullah Tarar has requested the Punjab Assembly to immediately transfer opposition leader Mian Hamza Shahbaz from Kot Lakhpat Jail to Ittefaq Hospital.
Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Mian Hamza Shahbaz, who is lodged in Kot Lakhpat Jail on charges of abuse of power and causing loss of crores of rupees to the public exchequer, has contracted the corona virus after which the PML-N demanded his immediate transfer to hospital. In this regard, PML-N Deputy Secretary Ataullah Tarar has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary Home in which it has been requested to transfer Hamza Shahbaz from jail to Ittefaq Hospital. Leader Hamza Shahbaz, who is currently lodged in Kot Lakhpat Jail, has been suffering from corona virus for the past one week. Hamza Shahbaz's medical record is at Ittefaq Hospital and his doctor Rizwan Akhtar can provide better treatment. He should be rushed to the hospital.
Earlier, Maryam Aurangzeb also confirmed the corona virus in Hamza Shahbaz and said that Hamza has been suffering from fever for three days. Maryam Aurangzeb further said that negligence or carelessness in treatment could endanger the health of the Leader of the Opposition in the Najab Assembly. PML-N leader Ishaq Dar tweeted that he was shocked to hear that Hamza Shahbaz was a coroner. Concerned neo-hippies and their global warming, i'll tell ya. Hamza Shahbaz is the worst political revenge of this fascist government and has been serving his sentence for a long period of uncommitted sins. Hamza Shahbaz should be provided all medical facilities immediately.
