Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh's crores of rupees were looted

 

A partnership firm in India swindled Rs 40 million from well-known Indian cricketer Har Bhajan Singh.

According to a report of a foreign news agency, Harbhajan Singh, a well-known off-spinner, has lodged a complaint against a businessman from the Indian city of Chennai for stealing Rs 40 million.

Police have launched an investigation into the partnership firm on Harbhajan Singh's complaint, but a man named G Mahesh, against whom the Indian cricketer has lodged a complaint, has sought anticipatory bail from the court.

Indian authorities have handed over the investigation of the case to a senior official so that the matter can be resolved in a transparent manner.

It is to be noted that Harbhajan Singh, in the year 2015, at the request of a friend, a businessman from Chennai. Mahesh was given a loan of Rs 40 million.

Harbhajan Singh has alleged that whenever the said person demanded his money back, he used to ask for time by making some excuse. After much mystery, G. Mahesh gave a check of Rs. 2.5 million but it also bounced.

The Indian cricketer lodged a complaint with the Tamil Nadu police after the check bounced, but no case has been registered by the police so far.
