US President Donald Trump has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of Hurricane Sally off the coast of Florida.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Jude Derry announced the state of emergency in a tweet, saying a state of emergency had been declared to rescue people on the US coast.
Meanwhile, Jude Derry said President Trump has declared a state of emergency in Florida and ordered the administration to do everything possible to protect local and tribal communities in the event of a disaster.
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) warned on Tuesday that the storm could wreak havoc.
