Fake doctor arrested in Saudi Arabia, drugs confiscated

 

A fake doctor running an illegal dental clinic has been arrested in Saudi Arabia.

According to international media reports, health and security authorities in the capital Riyadh, acting on a tip-off, raided a clinic and arrested a dentist and confiscated substandard drugs.

Security officials say the fake dentist was running the clinic without a license, the fake doctor is Asian and a resident of Saudi Arabia.

Authorities say the fake doctor has been barred from practice and handed over to police, legal action is being taken against the accused and the prosecution is investigating the fake doctor for the illegal act.

A person who runs a clinic without a license and endangers people's lives by becoming a fake doctor can be fined one lakh riyals and imprisoned.
