Facebook, the largest social networking platform, has introduced a great feature for university students.
According to the details, Facebook has introduced a very important feature 'Campus' for the convenience of students and keeping them in touch with their classmates.
In this feature students will have to create a new profile, in this new profile name, profile picture and other information will be imported from their original Facebook profile. However, they can edit this information and add their class, subjects and other details in it.
In this way, students whose classes and subjects are the same will stay in touch with each other.
There will also be a separate newsfeed for students who create their profile under the campus feature, which will feature posts about their educational institution that will be made by the institution's management and students.
According to the report, the younger generation is leaving Facebook and turning to TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms. So this feature has been introduced by Facebook to attract the youth back.
This feature is currently being rolled out to 30 colleges and universities in the United States, including Bryan, Doc, Georgia State, Johns Hopkins, University of Pennsylvania and others. However, this feature does not include Harvard University, where Facebook originated.
