Dr. Maha Shah's request for exhumation is accepted.

The petition filed by Sub-Inspector Sharafat Ali, the investigating officer of the case, said that according to the medical report, Maha was shot in the left side of the head and exited from the right side. Permission for exhumation, postmortem and further examination should be allowed to confirm the position of the plaintiff.

A local court in Karachi has issued a written verdict on a petition seeking exhumation and post-mortem in the Dr Maha case.

The court order said that the court has no objection to the exhumation, the court cannot interfere in the investigation, so the prosecution should take action in accordance with the law.

It may be recalled that on August 19, the body of Lady Dr. Maha Shah from Defense area of ​​Karachi was found at his house on which the police had expressed suspicion that Dr. Maha had committed suicide by shooting himself.

Police said that the female doctor was living with her father, mother, 2 younger sisters and a younger brother. The doctor had an argument with her father and she went to the bathroom and committed suicide.

However, during the investigation of the case, the police on August 26 registered a case against Maha Shah's father in which three accused have been named, including a well-known dentist, Junaid's friend Junaid and one accused Waqas.

The Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) of Jinnah Hospital also said that the bullet was fired from the reverse side of Dr Maha's convoy. Proving wrong.
