"Billion Tree Honey" after the Billion Tree Project.

The federal government has decided to introduce local honey "Billion Tree Honey". According to private news channel Hum News, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the project soon. Three types of trees, including berry trees, have been identified for the project.

Environmental Adviser Malik Amin Aslam said that berry honey would be sourced from Mianwali forest. He said that wild honey would be procured from the area near Attock while a lab would be set up in the private sector for quality control. He said that a pilot project has been started by forming a working group in this regard. He said that international marketing of Billion Tree Honey brand will be done and the best honey of specific quality will be obtained from Gilgit, Skardu.
