Doctors removed the toothbrush stuck in the citizen's abdomen after 35 minutes of surgery.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, a unique and shocking incident of swallowing a toothbrush took place in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh where a man swallowed a toothbrush while brushing his teeth.
The victim said that he was brushing when suddenly the toothbrush slipped from his hand and went down his throat.
Shortly after the incident, the victim's family rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors did an X-ray to find out where the brush was.
Doctors decided to operate on the patient without any delay and after 35 minutes of operation, they removed the toothbrush from the affected person's stomach.
Doctors said that at that time the citizen was not feeling any particular pain but during the next 24 hours he could be in severe pain so an immediate operation was decided.
