A small plane crashed in the United States, killing 4 members of the same family.

A passenger plane has crashed in the US state of Arkansas, killing all four people on board.

According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, the small plane flying from Arkansas to South Carolina had to change its route due to bad weather, however, while flying over Fayetteville, the plane hesitated and crashed.

The control tower reported the plane missing and later landed on the ground, prompting rescue agencies to search the area overnight and find the wreckage the next morning in a forested area, from which four bodies have been recovered.

The bodies were identified as Paul Hearn, Kevin Hearn, Holly Hearn and Gavin Hearn, all members of the same family. The crash was caused by bad weather, but Federal Aviation said Kevin Hearn did not have a license to fly in bad weather.
