A ship carrying 6,000 cattle from New Zealand sank.

 

A ship carrying 6,000 cattle from New Zealand sank off an island in Japan, leaving 40 crew members missing and only one person evacuated.

According to the International News Agency, a ship carrying 6,000 cattle was caught in the gusts of strong winds of Hurricane Mesak on the island of Emami Oshima in southwestern Japan. Because of this he drowned in the sea.

A Japanese Coast Guard spokesman said an emergency call had been received from the coast of Oshima, prompting three Coast Guard boats, four ships and two divers to begin rescue operations. Eduardo has been rescued while the bodies of some cattle have been exhumed.

The ship had 43 crew members on board, 39 of whom were Filipinos, two from New Zealand and two from Australia, so far only one member has been rescued and two bodies have been found while the rest Are missing
