According to the Deputy Commissioner South, no citizen in these restaurants wore a mask and no social distance was maintained.
The Deputy Commissioner said that 3 restaurants have been sealed at Dua Chowrangi, 3 at Boat Basin, 2 at Aram Bagh and one at Saddar.
On the other hand, a micro-smart lockdown was imposed for 15 days in UC-8 of Manghopir area of Karachi at 12 noon. The Micro Smart Lockdown will be in effect until 7 pm on October 15.
According to the notification, cases of Corona were reported in two buildings located in the area. Unauthorized persons have been banned from entering the area, otherwise all business activities in the area will be suspended.
Only ration shops and medical stores will be allowed to open in the area during the micro-smart lockdown.
A briefing was given at the meeting of National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) on the situation of corona virus cases in Karachi.
During the briefing, it was informed that out of 747 cases of Corona virus in the country, 365 are from Karachi alone.
