Former Indian cricket batsman Yuvraj Singh has also expressed his best wishes for the recovery of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is suffering from cancer.
It may be recalled that 61-year-old actor Sanjay Dutt, popularly known as Mana Bhai and Sanju Baba in the Bollywood industry, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
Fans around the world, including in India, are upset to hear of Sanjay Dutt's illness and are praying for his recovery.
Former Indian cricket batsman Yuvraj Singh has said in a Twitter message to Sanjay Dutt that "you were, are and will always be a fighter."
Yuvraj Singh says, "I know what this pain is like, but I also know that you are strong and will face this difficult stage. My prayers and best wishes for your speedy recovery.
It should be noted that Yuvraj Singh himself has recovered from cancer.
After the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with cancer and doctors diagnosed a tumor in his left lung.
Yuvraj Singh had gone to the United States for his treatment, where he returned to India after several months of treatment, after which he represented India in several international matches. He announced his retirement from international cricket last year.
According to Indian media, 61-year-old Sanjay Dutt is in the fourth stage of lung cancer and will soon be taken to the United States for treatment.
