What "sacrifice" did the superstar of Hindi cinema make for "Lagan"?

Ordinary people and cinema-goers may think that celebrities from around the world and their favorite actors can easily earn millions, crores of rupees. At the same time, they get a lot of fame and respect. But is it just that someone comes in front of the camera and plays the dialogue of their character very well and with such skill that the scene is supposed to be real, and he gets a huge compensation for this "minor hardship"?

Probably not. It's not easy when it comes to heroes and heroines, especially actors whose names are well-known in the industry. They are often forced to work harder and harder to maintain their reputation and quality of performance.

You must have seen the Hindi film Lagaan. Did you know that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was surprised to see Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan at a function before the release of his film Lagaan because he looked less than 30?

Aamir Khan was asked what kind of sacrifice he had made for it.

In this film, Aamir Khan had stopped eating meat to bring his character closer to reality. A banana and apple would be their food for breakfast, while in the afternoon they would eat barley and millet bread or vegetables. All their food was cooked in olive oil. In the evening he ate as much as he could and when it was night, no matter how hungry he was, Aamir Khan was given only juice and salad to eat.

This is not the end of the story. The star of Hindi cinema, in addition to giving up his diet and tongue-lashing, also did various exercises for four hours a day, and thus made Lagan a success.
