In order to give jewelery as a gift to his mistress, Aashiq along with his accomplices robbed a shop of Rs 1 million. The incident took place at Powara Bazaar in Junepur. Here on July 31, thugs looted Rs 1 million. This information was given by Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar. He said the robbery was carried out by six thugs, three of whom have been arrested. Police claimed that three and a half lakh jewelery, two bikes, two slaps and ammunition were recovered from the arrested thugs.
According to Ashok Kumar, the workout revealed that Dilip alias DK had hatched a robbery conspiracy to give jewelery to his mistress as a gift. His mistress has no parents. He did not have the money to give a wedding gift, so DK along with five of his accomplices carried out the robbery. Police are searching for three people, including DK, the main accused in the robbery, for which they are conducting raids.
During the investigation, the police found three robbers and arrested them near Kharri in Mangarabad Shahpur. Police have seized jewelery worth Rs 3.5 lakh from the thugs. Currently, several police teams are searching for Dilip alias DK, the main accused in the money laundering incident.
