LAHORE: The marriage of PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar's son Junaid Safdar has been arranged. The marriage was arranged by Nawaz Sharif himself and the bride is from the family of Saif-ur-Rehman (Accountability Bureau) living in Qatar. This was revealed by senior columnist and analyst Sohail Warraich.

Sohail Warraich wrote: "Apart from politics, he has found time to focus on family matters and has arranged the marriage of his grandson Junaid Safdar Awan to the family of Saif-ur-Rehman (Accountability Bureau) in Qatar. It is estimated that Maryam Nawaz will be in touch with her father on a daily basis and Shahbaz Sharif will also be in touch with Nawaz Sharif for guidance on political and national issues.

Shahbaz Sharif's first family has gone to London nowadays, Suleiman Shahbaz and his brother-in-law Ali Imran's family are also in London, Begum Shahbaz Sharif will also go to London to meet Nawaz Sharif, Mian Nawaz Sharif's youngest daughter Asma Ishaq is Dar's daughter-in-law, so there must be interaction with this family as well.
