In Rawalpindi, the issue of marriage of a girl to a girl has become a drop scene. The groom Asma Ali alias Akash Ali divorced his wife Neha instead of undergoing a medical test.

Neha's father had approached the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench on the issue of marriage of a girl to a girl in Rawalpindi. The groom Akash Ali (Asma Ali) had taken a stand in the court that he has become a man by changing his gender. When a medical test was ordered by the court, Akash Ali refused to undergo the test saying that he had become coronary. The court gave more time to test Asma Ali, but instead of following the court order, he divorced his wife Neha Ali.

Amjad Janjua, advocate for Neha Ali's father, said that Asma Ali violated the court order by refusing to get medical treatment. The second proof that she is a girl is that she has divorced Neha. The matter will be taken to court so that an appropriate order can be taken.
