Spain: The first virtual waiter app to maintain social distance.

The global epidemic of corona virus has gripped the entire world and new methods and technologies are being used to stop the spread of the virus and maintain social distance.

Singapore deployed robot dogs to send a message of social distance, while in some universities robots took part in convocations instead of students, in some restaurants large bears were kept to reduce the rush, and in some places dummy customers were placed.

Similarly, a restaurant on the northeastern Mediterranean coast of Spain has launched a virtual waiter app to reduce the risk of spreading the corona virus.

According to a report by the British news agency 'Reuters', the Spanish restaurant Funky Pizza has laid the foundation for a new experiment which helps to reduce the risk of the spread of the global epidemic by preventing more encounters between consumers and staff.

Customers of Funky Pizza, a popular Costa Brava restaurant in Palafrogel, can order and pay by viewing the menu on their phone through the FunkyPay app.

Note that this is the first time such an designed app has been integrated into a restaurant ordering system in Spain.

The waiter then brings the ordered food to the table.

"Through this system, we have tried to maintain a physical distance with our customers, which is what people are looking for during the Corona virus," said restaurant owner Carlos Manich.

After ordering through the app, staff manages orders from screens.

Thus the restaurant adopts social distance only through the table service and at the time of entry the customers are reminded to wear masks at all times when they are not at their table.
