Sakina Samu spoke in favor of Saba Qamar

Legendary Pakistani actress Sakina Samu has raised her voice in favor of Pakistani actress Saba Qamar.

Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed and actress Saba Qamar were embroiled in a controversy over dancing in a historic mosque during the shooting of the new song 'Qabool'. 

A case has been registered against actress Saba Qamar under section 295 while Bilal Saeed has also been named in the case. The FIR states that actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed violated the sanctity of the mosque. Action will be taken against.

In this regard, Pakistan Showbiz Industry actress, director and producer Sakina Samu has shared a post in favor of Saba Qamar on photo, video sharing application in which she asked other Pakistani artists to support actress Saba Qamar.

In her post, Sakina Samu expressed solidarity with Saba Qamar and wrote, "I am sorry to say that this is completely wrong. Saba Qamar is a good actress and a compassionate person. She is happy in her world and to this day." Saba has never done anything wrong to anyone.

To @sabaqamarzaman with love. In solidarity with Saba, with great sadness I say. This is utterly wrong. She’s a fine artist and a kind person. She doesn’t do anything bad to anybody. She’s happy in her world. I think it’s totally unfair to her and an insult to her talent. Things are greatly exaggerated. I believe her good intentions therefore I support her. Actor community should stand by her. If we don’t today then tomorrow it can be anybody’s turn. So beware my fellow actors. Yours faithfully.
