Pakistan Independence Day is also being celebrated in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir

 

Pakistan's 74th Independence Day is also being celebrated with traditional fervor in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, Kashmiris are celebrating August 14 as Thanksgiving Day. On this occasion, Kashmiris in different areas have made Pakistani flags in their homes.

Kashmiris have always openly expressed their love for Pakistan, and consider the struggle for independence of Kashmir as an incomplete agenda of the Tehreek-e-Pakistan. Kashmiri brothers and sisters should not be forgotten on this occasion.

In a message to the nation, the President congratulated the nation on Independence Day and said that India has been committing human rights violations in Kashmir for three decades and wants to impose Hindutva ideology on all minorities.

Arif Alawi said that Pakistan would continue to support Kashmiris' right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that on Independence Day, Indians are saddened by the plight of Kashmiri brothers in occupied Kashmir. We stand with the Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for self-determination and will continue to raise their voice for them at every forum.

He said that military siege has been going on in occupied Kashmir for the last one year. The sons of the nation sacrificed for the defense of this land and its ideology.

DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that serious human rights violations were being committed in occupied Kashmir. The sanctity of children and women is being violated. The Kashmiri leadership has been committed for a year. Kashmiris are fighting for independence despite all the atrocities.

 A Pakistan Army spokesman said the new political map aims to guide future generations and determine their destiny. The struggle of the Kashmiri people will surely succeed.
