On August 5, a year before the Modi government, the Indian media opened a pool of loud claims to end the sovereignty of occupied Kashmir and develop the valley.
According to the report of the Indian newspaper, after the unilateral action of India on August 5, 2019, 456,000 people have become unemployed in one year in occupied Kashmir.
According to the report, the economy of the occupied valley has suffered a loss of more than Rs 40,000 crore while 6,000 acres of agricultural land has been allocated for industrial purposes.
The Indian newspaper says that this situation is the result of the negative effects of the repeal of Articles 370 and 35A.
It may be recalled that the extremist ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of India had on August 5 last year forcibly made Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh part of the Indian Union by repealing Article 370 of the Constitution which gave special status to occupied Kashmir.
Later, the Hindu extremist government of India took another step to convert the Muslim majority in occupied Kashmir into a minority and enacted the Domicile Act in Occupied Kashmir.
