Under this rain system, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Tharparkar, Strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Sukkur, Larkana, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Barkhan, Zhob, Musa Khel, Laura Lai, Kohlu and Sibi from Friday to Monday.

Earlier, heavy rains lashed the eastern parts of Sindh and Balochistan, including Karachi, from August 6 to 9, causing floods in some parts of Karachi and Hyderabad. The monsoon wreaked havoc in various parts of Sindh. Several people were killed in Karachi as a result of the fourth spell of the monsoon.

It should be noted that this will be the fifth spell of rains in Karachi, in which rains with thunder and lightning are forecast in the city.
