Babar Azam will be able to participate in the T20 Blast tournament or not.

 

Pakistan T20 cricket captain Babar Azam is expected to play in the T20 Blast tournament after the T20 series against England, but he will have to seek permission from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to details, the star batsman of the national cricket team has a contract with English county Somerset and the county is hopeful that the availability of Babar Azam will be confirmed next week. Despite this, Babar Azam will not be able to participate in 3 to 4 matches of T20 Blast due to T20 series against England.

On the other hand, if Babar Azam is allowed to participate in the T20 Blast, he will not participate in the PCB National T20 Cup, which is scheduled for the last week of September. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has a contract with Hampshire for T20 Blast but the participation of both the players in the event is subject to the permission of the PCB.
