Sushant was not casted for 'Road 2'

Police say that there is a difference between the statements of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra, but now the Mumbai police have also recorded the statement of Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt in this case. Mahesh Bhatt told police in a statement that he had met Sushant only twice, the first in 2018 and the second and last in February 2020.

Mahesh Bhatt said that there was no other film talk between him and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Mahesh Bhatt revealed to the police that Sushant wanted to play a role in his upcoming film 'Sadak 2', however, he had not decided whether to cast Sushant or not.

According to the filmmaker, he did not cast Sushant for the lead role in 'Sadak 2' as the film was to be made with Sanjay Dutt, the hero of the first film.

According to media reports, there are rumors in the Indian media that the ongoing police investigation into the cause of Sushant Singh's suicide will not yield any results, as so far the police have not found any specific evidence to prove that the actor was under conspiracy.
